Existing portfolio of more than 140 education technology and service partners in ASU’s online division alone.
Forward thinking and entrepreneurial administration, faculty, and private foundation.
A willingness and ability to engage in innovative partnerships, such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan and the Global Freshman Academy.
More than 90,000 students who make up a diverse EdTech laboratory.
National and global presence with North American operations in California and Washington, DC, and global operations in China and Vietnam.
Leading role as founder and co-sponsor of the ASU-GSV Summit.
Leadership position in national and global networks of innovative universities, such as the University Innovation Alliance and PLuS Alliance.
Draper Associates, based in San Mateo, CA, is an early-stage venture capital firm founded and led by Tim Draper. As a founding partner of investment firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson (which has deployed more than $5 billion in 300+ companies), Draper invested in Cruise Automation, Twitch, Skype, Tesla, Hotmail, and many other successful early- and growth-stage technology ventures. Draper was also an early investor in learning software company Instructure, which made its initial public offering in November 2015. Draper’s education experience includes founding Draper University, an innovative entrepreneurial boot camp in Silicon Valley. Draper University offers immersive residential, online, and executive sessions, and will partner initially with the Accelerator on an executive training session in fall 2017.
Global Silicon Valley (GSV) Acceleration is an early stage venture capital fund. We partner with and invest in entrepreneurs whose technology companies are driving an outsized return on education and talent ("ROE") and transforming the learning and employment sector.
We believe these innovators and their innovations can collectively achieve the audacious goal of giving all people equal opportunity in the future.
